An NPC Sorcerer is casting Pain against a PC, who gets to resist using his TY. For this case, is the PC’s TY boosted by his PA?

And if so, for cases like enslavement where there is a 2nd resistance check if a ‘command’ is issued, does the PA apply then?

Right now I assume the PA does apply, since it is an attribute check and in general the best applicable PA applies to attribute and skill checks.

But I am having a moment of self-doubt.

Doubt not, young Padawan. ;)

Just like you say, both Checks are Attribute Checks and as such the best applicable PA applies to both of them.

Of course this resisting works best when it is followed by a swift decapitation of the sorcerer in question in front of his entire cult :cheer:
